And also look at this picture. This was taken exactly 12 hours earlier by my son.
This is the boat, which was involved in the accident.

I was in Bangladesh with my family in December 2012 for three weeks. Srikundi is my birthplace and many of my relatives live here. I visit this “Kheya Ghat” every time, while I am in Srikundi to meet my relatives.

One of the Pramanik brothers was my friend, with whom I spent hours playing together as a child and school boy. We all pray for the eternal peace of the deceased persons.

Bangladesh Study Papers of the ICG
The International Crisis Group (ICG) in short ‘Crisis Group’ is an
independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, with some130 staff
members on five continents, working through field-based analysis and
high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict.

The Crisis Group published a report on 13 June 2012 on Bangladesh. The
copy of the report entitled ‘Bangladesh: Back to the Future’ is attached
here with this mail.

It may be noted that the Crisis Group’s reports and briefing papers are
distributed widely by email and made available simultaneously on the
website, www.crisisgroup.org. Crisis Group works closely with governments
and those who influence them, including the media to highlight its crisis
analyses and to generate support for its policy prescriptions.
